Your information is collected solely to:

• Maintain accurate client records

• Communicate with you about your sessions and bookings

How your information is stored
Client records are managed through Splose, a secure practice management platform that stores data using Amazon Web Services (AWS) and adheres to the Australian Privacy Act 1988 and Australian Privacy Principles. Data is protected with industry-leading encryption (AES-256 at rest, TLS 1.2+ in transit).

Splose uses AI-assisted features (powered by OpenAI) to support clinical documentation. This is an opt-in feature — your consent will always be sought before any AI features are used with your data. OpenAI does not retain or use your data for training purposes.

Who has access to your information

• Melanie Proud (your practitioner)

• Splose staff on a need-to-know basis, and trusted third-party service providers for the purpose of delivering Splose's services

• Government or regulatory bodies, if required by law

Your information is never shared beyond the above without your explicit written consent.

 

When confidentiality may not apply
There are limited circumstances where information may be shared without consent:

• Where there is risk of harm to you or others

• Where a child is at risk of abuse or neglect

• Where records are subpoenaed by a court of law

 

Your rights
